Machine parts
- Film reel holder: holds the film roll.
- Emergency stop switch: stops the machine at once.
- Film feed button: feeds the film into the machine.
- Control panel: sets temperature, air volume, length and speed, and starts and stops the machine.
- Air pipe: inflates the film and carries it to the sealing belts.
Loading the film
Fit the film roll on the film reel holder and feed the film down through the guide into the air pipe, following the blue line and red arrow in the manual's figures. Then press the film feed button while gently pulling the film from the front of the machine.
Control panel

- Start starts the machine. Stop pauses it.
The status line on the screen shows HEATING while the machine warms up, PAUSE when it is stopped, and IN SERVICE when it is running.

Safety
Make sure the voltage switch matches your supply and the machine is connected to a safety earth. Do not open the machine cover except as shown in the manual. The heating blocks, belts and seal line are hot, so do not touch them while the machine is running or until it has cooled down, and keep fingers, hair, jewellery and clothing away from the rollers and belts. In an emergency, press the emergency stop switch on top of the machine. Use inflated cushions only as packaging. See the manual (click download file below) for the full safety instructions.
Warranty and support
Machines purchased from Forever Green Packaging carry a 1 year warranty from the install date, and parts needed after the first year may be chargeable. Machines supplied on loan are serviced at no charge for as long as the loan continues. The Silver Pack Mk2 is designed for use with Forever Green Packaging film, and we support it for as long as it is being used with our film. Using other film may affect seal quality and is outside our support.
If you have a problem this guide does not solve, contact us with your machine model and a description of the fault.
